Happy Birthday Thérèse

4 years ago our hearts grew as you made your way into the world.  You have created your role in our family; you are the jokester, the one who will do anything for a laugh and the one who can be granted forgiveness for naughtiness by pure charm.  You have us wrapped around your finger and you know it.  Sabrina adores you and will do anything for you.

Your favorite adjective is “lovely” which you use to describe anything from people, clothes and even hot dogs.  You have given me the nickname “little lady” which you somehow seem to know when to use to make me smile.  Your classmates at pre-school you lovingly refer to as “My kids.”  And instead of a septic tank you refer to it as a “poopy tank.”  🙂

You are fearless at playgrounds and amusement parks and easily make new friends with your personality.  You are mesmerized when you see a group of older boys playing and I can see the wheels turning in your head.  Your birthday list included 3 things;  a pogo stick, a bike and a bowling set.

You shower us with your sweetness with hugs and kisses for everyone you love.  I love that you call me Mama and ask if we can snuggle on the couch.  I love how a game of I Spy can be a highlight of your day.  I love that you call the American flag the “Grand Old Flag.”

I love how you grab us by the hand and lead the way.  I can’t wait to see what ride you take us on this year.
