imagine | family session in central park

We entered Central Park to the sound of a huddled crowd singing together to celebrate John Lennon’s 70th birthday.  In the middle of their circle stood a guy dressed like Lennon with a guitar who lead the group in song.   An hour or so later as we made our way out of the park the crowd had grown larger and they were still singing away.

It’s been two years since our last session so I had a great time catching up with this family and exploring the park together.  We found some spots I had never been to before and Miss I delighted in pointing out all the boats to me and singing her A,B,C’s.  I couldn’t have asked for a better day in new york.

And to top it off Chris and I enjoyed a kid-free lunch here in one of my favorite neighborhoods in the city.  We had planned to go somewhere else but the line was so long and I was too hungry to wait.  I’m glad we gave it a try- the food was SOOO good!!
