new york state of mind

Last weekend Chris and I enjoyed a kid-free day in Manhattan.  Normally I never bring my camera with me when I’m not there for a job but now that I have my super stylish camera bag I didn’t mind lugging it with me.  It was such a fun day!!  One of my favorite photographers is Henri Cartier Bresson and his exhibit at the MOMA was completely inspiring.  We walked sooooo much, the kids could have never kept up with us all day.  But I want to take the girls with us  next time because since T was born we haven’t been taking advantage of  living  just a few miles away from the city.
I took a ton of photos and wanted to share a few I processed so far:

It’s been so long since I really walked around the city – and I work there! Thanks for the reminder that I should get out a little bit and see more than 40th Street between 8th and Broadway! 🙂 Glad you had such a nice day!ReplyCancel
