Today you turn 6 and you could not be more excited. You put on the little birthday crown we made out of construction paper and stickers and happily declared it a “magical day”. When Thérèse wanted something special too you told her she could be your “birthday helper” and gave her stickers to put on her shirt. This is typical Sabrina; always our kind hearted, sensitive and happy girl.
You don’t know yet who Miley Cyrus or Justin Bieber are. You still love to play with My Little Pony’s. You are a dreamer and artist, always making something out of anything you find. A scrap of paper becomes a paper airplane. A rock is something to paint and bedazzle with glitter. A sock without a match is an opportunity to make a sock puppet. You collected acorns all throughout fall to decorate our mantle to be fancy.
Every night after we tuck you in and leave your room you work on making little cards or books to give to us in the morning. I love peeking in your room after you’ve fallen asleep (usually wearing a dance costume) to see what you made. The picture of the “I love colors” book on the right is one that you made for Thérèse to teach her her colors.
I don’t know how we got so lucky to have you but we are eternally grateful. You are the happiest person I’ve ever known and we wish you the happiest and most magical birthday!!!
Christie she is beautiful. The way you describe her is just magical. Lucky you! you have an amazing daughter. Happy Birthday Sabrina.
