vacation is….

good for the soul.  5 nights (did I mention kid-free?) in San Francisco and Napa was exactly what we needed.  We walked until our legs couldn’t walk and then took it easy reading our books in the park, going to see a movie in the middle of the afternoon and leisurely eating out (I am in the love with the menu from this place, we ate lunch there twice).  It felt SO good to take my camera out “for fun” and just be in vacation mode.  I have lots to go through but here are a few from San Francisco:

And this sign cracked me up.  love their sense of humor for pointing out road work ahead

We spent a day in Napa which was heavenly.

One of the highlights of our day in Napa was getting to meet a photographer I have admired for a very long time (I mentioned her before here).  We had a photo session with her at the Rubicon Estates which was too gorgeous for words and had a wonderful morning together.  You can have a look at our sneak peek here!
