going BIG | ridgewood nj portrait studio

I love seeing how my clients display their portraits and I knew I needed to share the finished product in this case. Mom had sent me a photo of her empty mantle after our session to ask for some ideas on how to incorporate the images into a display.  It’s no secret that I love interior design so I was thrilled with this challenge.  We went back and forth with several ideas and finally settled on a combination gallery mount + canvas arrangement.  I was so excited when I placed the order for all of her goodies and earlier this week I received an email and photo of everything up on the mantle and I just have to share.  I’m going to post the photo first without any sizes so you can try to guess how big everything is .  The black and white is a wrapped canvas and the 3 in color are gallery mounts.

Are you guessing the sizes?

ok are you ready?

So tell me:  How did you do with guessing?

Many people think that a 24×30 (or even an 11×14) seems SOOO big so hopefully this will get your mind thinking.  There are so many fun ways to display your images!
