I’ve had one newborn session since the storm last week since my studio luckily never lost power (we were without power at home for 5 days but now are back at home and warm!). There is such a shortage of gas around here so we aren’t going anywhere this weekend until we are confident we can find gas locally without at 2 hour wait so I am getting a lot of work done in between playtime with the girls. We are so fortunate to have only had minimal damage to our house; it is so devastating what has happened to so much of our area. My heart goes out to those who lost so much this week.
I was so touched that this mom and dad made the trip up to me this week with their gorgeous little girl so that I could capture this special time for them. Philippa had no interest in sleeping but loved being cuddled by her parents and gave me such sweet eye contact. Congratulations on your beautiful little girl!
In light of all the rescheduling that needs to take place after not getting the majority of my sessions in this week I will only be able to book newborn sessions for the rest of November (no more room in the schedule for any more outdoor sessions).
